Your current routine isn't cutting it.
Why should I care about performance systems?
Systems create consistency. Consistency leads to change.
If you are like most people I speak with, you know you are capable of doing more, of being more.
You want to be healthy, do work you love, create lasting relationships, and be fulfilled.
But that sounds like a lot of work… and you are busy.
You are overwhelmed. You have so much to do, and very little is for yourself.
I get it. You wear a lot of hats and play a lot of roles to a lot of people. There just doesn’t seem to be enough time to take action for yourself.
Because of this, you haven’t started or maintained a routine to improve your performance.
The truth is, if you don’t start then you leave your life to chance.
High-performers do not leave their lives to chance.
They focus on taking consistent action on important tasks.
And they do so in multiple areas of their lives. They exercise, eat well, crush it at work, make time for family, and on and on.
To make positive changes in our lives, we are told to adopt a new diet, exercise an hour a day, meditate for another hour, find our purpose, do work we love, change our mindsets, read for an hour, and on and on.
Who has time for all that? I sure don’t.
It’s tough to check off all those boxes. “And if I can’t check off a box,” we think, “why even start?”
Unfortunately, we see the impact of this all around us.
- Over 66% of the population is overweight or obese.
- 80% of people are dispassionate about their jobs.
- 45 million Americans go on a new diet each year.
- Rates of depression and chronic stress are increasing.
And there are so many questions we are presented with:
- What is the best diet to follow?
- What kind of exercise routine should I do?
- Home much sleep is enough?
- How the heck do I find my purpose?
- What do I need to do to perform better at work?.. in life?
- How much time do I need with loved ones for myself and for them?
These trends suck and we can do better. We are all capable of being healthy and energetic high-performers. We just need the right systems.
So who is this for exactly?
Anyone who falls into one of these categories:
- You started an exercise routine but quit because you had competing time priorities.
- You gave up on a diet because you couldn’t stand the idea of eating lame foods for the long run.
- You want to be fit and healthy, but you also want to excel in your career… you just don’t know how to do both at the same time.
- You feel burned out from taking care of everyone else and can’t find the time to take care of yourself.
- You don’t have enough time to do anything to the best of your ability. You feel like you are just getting by.
- You feel lost and are searching for more meaningful work and relationships.
Did one of those resonate with you? If so, I’ll teach you how to get on the path of performance in only 28 days.
I'm ready!Your current systems are holding you back.
Upgrade your systems to upgrade your life.
Progress happens slowly, then suddenly.
“You do not rise to the level of your goals, you fall to the level of your systems.” - James Clear
High-performers are not unicorns, they just have different systems.
Consider these facts:
- Your habits create outcomes. Small habits lead to big changes over time.
- Your thoughts lead to actions. Thoughts are habits too.
- When you are intentional about your thoughts and actions, you can create small wins.
- Small wins stack into big wins.
- You make progress slowly, then suddenly.
- Where your focus goes, energy flows.
High performers have found a way to leverage their thoughts and habits to create effective systems. These systems ensure they make small but consistent progress over time.
They are not jumping on the new fitness bandwagon or adopting the latest psychology trend.
They are taking intentional and consistent action through regular habits.
Which habits and systems are needed for high-performance?
Habits and systems are different. Habits are the things you do repeatedly. Systems are the methods, behaviors, and habits that you string together and repeat over time.
Not all habits are created equal. Obviously, some habits will lead you down the path of destruction (like drugs, procrastination, lack of focus).
Some habits will create massive benefits over time (like investing, skill development, and exercise).
This program focuses on 8 pillars of performance:
- Clarity
- Fitness
- Fuel
- Recovery
- Energy
- Focus
- Control
- Mindset
3 of these pillars are related to physical health. 5 live in the realm of mental power.
Your effectiveness depends on all 8 pillars.
Without your physical health your body will not produce high-outputs.
Without mental strength, your execution will suffer.
Without clarity, you will be aimless.
High-performers understand and utilize these pillars to their advantage.
You may be asking:
Who has done this before? How do you know it works?
Let me tell you.
The Instructor
Who is this guy who will teach me about performance?
Just a guy who is obsessed with helping people be awesome.
Over the last 20 years, I have worked with countless athletes, leaders, and high-performers.
Early in my career I noticed similarities between all the successful people I trained.
Some people attacked their fitness goals and were able to not only hit their goals, but maintain them over the long run.
Others attacked their fitness goals, but were not able to make it last.
My successful clients also reported faster career progress, more happiness at work, stronger relationships, and a happier life.
My less successful clients struggled at their jobs, were challenged in their marriages, had lackluster relationships with their kids, and reported more negative daily experiences.
What was the difference between them? Why could one group show up and crush it in every area of their life and others struggle to get by?
I started paying attention and tracking their habits.
Then I started working in leadership development. The same experience surfaced again.
Some leaders attacked their goals with vigor, created career fulfillment, and reported more overall life-happiness.
Others struggled to learn new skills, failed to lead their teams effectively, and shared a lot of complaints about "their special situation."
During my last 6 years of leadership coaching and development, I started documenting what made high-performance individuals more successful.
I've also interviewed over a dozen other high-performers about their habits, strategies, and mindsets.
The 8 pillars are a result of that research
I want to share these pillars with you.
Join me for this cohort to learn the performance pillars, create your own system, and get fit, focused, and fulfilled. Over 28 days, I will host 8 live calls to teach the pillars and help you implement what you learn!
